After ‘Queen’, Kangana Ranaut came up with another female-oriented movie. While Queen was a big hit at the box-office, ‘Simran’ couldn’t create that much of magic(or ‘any’ magic, to be precise) for Kangana.
The movie collected approx 1.25 cr on its second weekend which takes the total collection of the movie to 15.75 cr.
The movie collected 14.78cr in its first week.
#Simran Fri 2.77 cr, Sat 3.76 cr, Sun 4.12 cr, Mon 1.41 cr, Tue 1.25 cr, Wed 1.16 cr, Thu 1.01 cr. Total: ₹ 15.48 cr. India biz.

The collection of ‘Simran’ is even lower than Kangana’s 2015 disaster Katti Batti which managed to collect 17 cr.
The figure of the collection of the movie ‘Simran’ reminds us the disasters of haunted Queen actress Bipasha’s horror flicks including Alone and Creature 3D.
There could be many reasons behind the disaster of the movie, No doubt Kangana has done a great job to the movie but somehow Kangana’s personal behavior and issues resulting in her this kind of results. Latest incidents include the ‘Aap ki Adalat’ interview where Kangana bluntly talked about her personal life even more than her upcoming movie for which she was there, which is not a good PR exercise.
Another incident that Kangana got herself involved in was that her appeal that she had been writing the movie script of ‘Simran’ alongside Apoorva Asrani (The writer of the movie), which later Apoorva denied.
The movie ‘Simran’ has been directed by Hansal Mehta and produced by Bishan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Shailesh R Singh and Amit Agarwal.
Kangana is working on her next big Manikarnika : The Queen of Jhansi which is a biopic of Rani Laxmibai.
We hope unlike Simran, Manikarnika does a great business and proves to become Kangana’s much needed hit.
