IND vs AUS LIVE – Indian Bowlers Meet and Greet: Indian teams have been disappointing especially their bowling team. Team management held a meeting with the bowlers on Thursday after a poor performance in their first T20 game against Australia. Bowling coach Paras Mambre coach Rahul Dravid captain Rohit Sharma and mental coach Paddy Upton attended. Team management discusses their roles and responsibilities with bowlers

According to information, an emergency meeting was held immediately after the defeat at Mohali. 208 runs without defense for India to beat every player except Axar Patel conceding 10 runs or more.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar was the top scorer with 52 goals. The entire bowling unit including Jasprit Bumrah has been declared fit again. It has been decided that Bumrah will become the head of the bowling unit.

Mental conditioning instruct Paddy Upton & bowling teach Param Mhambrey will behavior one to one session with each member of the Indian bowling unit.

• Hardik Pandya: 0/22 in 2 at 11.00

The team management believes it was a mental block rather than a technical factor that led to the massive collapse of the form. The concern is that there is not much time to prepare for the T20 World Cup with five games left.

Who all attended the meeting?

This match is for bowlers only with Hardik Pandya. Captain Rohit Sharma and captain KL Rahul were present. Jasprit Bumrah Bhuvneshwar Kumar Harshal Patel and Deepak Chahar Yuzvendra Chahal Ravichandran Ashwin Axar along with Rahul Dravid bowling coach Paras Mhambre and mental conditioning coach Paddy Upton were also present. At the end of the meeting Paddy Upton has a separate session with each bowler.

Earlier the selectors had expressed concern over India not getting the ball. Captain Rohit Sharma looked tired after the Mohali shellacking and did not believe India could defend 208 runs even though the pitch supported the batsmen well. Rohit has admitted that his bowling has let the team down.

I dont think we are well protected. 200 was a good score for the defense and we didnt take our chances at home. Rohit Sharma said after the game that it was a great effort from our batsmen but the bowlers were not there.

I fear when our bowlers cannot defend 208. But this is the time and you must understand that Mohali is heading towards paradise. Therefore it is not suitable to put in a pair on the same basis. Lets talk to the support team about what to do. one of the selectors told.
